Doug Showers, PE

Doug Showers brings more than 40 years of experience in public service engineering services. His engagements have focused on design and construction associated with Municipal Infrastructure, Wet Utilities, Civil/Structural and Transportation Engineering. He has let multi-discipline design teams as well as managed design deliverables for focused water and wastewater project scopes.

Doug came to MPCE in 2022 to focus on Construction Management and Inspection for City and Private Development projects. Doug handles Site Plan, Plat and Construction Plan review for residential and commercial development within City boundaries (including the ETJ) as well as Grayson and Collin Counties. From concept planning through civil close-out, Doug works with City, County and Developer personnel to meet relevant standards and ordinances, and good engineering practice. A team of inspectors are dispatched and scheduled to follow milestone and technical observations to assure the City and County that approved plans are being adhered to.
